February is time of carnivals. Quite a few tango songs feature some motif from carnivals. Our First Friday Milonga will be a masquerade with a Carnival theme.
IT’S CARNIVAL TIME
Carnivals are usually held around the world in February. But the world famous Carnival of Rio deJaneiro has been cancelled this year due to COVID-19. Possibly Carnavale di Venizia in Venice and Carnaval Porteño in Buenos Aires won’t go ahead either….?
MASQUERADE
Tasmanian Club de Tango presents a festive masquerade for the First Friday Milonga this February to lift the spirits of dancers. Let’s shake off pandemic-dampened spirits.
