Welcome to Tasmanian Club de Tango.
We are a not for profit organisation based in Hobart who passionately support and promote Argentine tango in Tasmania.
We provide weekly lessons and informal social dancing every Tuesday night and a gala milonga on the first Friday of each month.
Our special events include hosting workshops by visiting teachers and conducting The Hobart Winter Tango Festival.

TAS TANGO CLUB START TO 2020
Following the outstanding success of our opening night for 2020 with Live Music supplied by the marvelous Mendoza Quartet we are now ready to settle into our regular program.
Tango Tuesday:
Venue: St Francis Xavier Church Hall, 61 Adelaide St South Hobart Tuesday
Time:
7:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Beginner’s Class
This class is suitable for those who are completely new to tango and those wishing to consolidate fundamental tango techniques.
8:30 pm to 10:30 pm Dancing
Stay and practice your tango and have lots of fun dancing beautiful Argentine Tango in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.
Cost: $15 for the night
